What is the “Safe Harbor” program?
- The TruckSuite “Safe Harbor” Program supports lender partners by assisting in the tractor recovery process.
- In the event of default and recovery, TruckSuite will treat the recovered vehicle as though it was coming in for repairs. This means that the truck will go through the diagnostic process determining if the vehicle is in need of repairs or warranty work. If it does, with the approval of the lender, the truck will be repaired using the remaining Escrow funds as well as use the warranty coverage to bring the truck to “front line ready” specs. Any monetary shortfall in repairs can be made up by the lender if they so choose.
- The truck will also be stored free of charge at a TruckSuite maintenance facility for up to 60 days.
